About

I'm a software engineer focused on infrastructure-level software — the kind of code that sits between hardware and everything else. I like problems that are close to the machine: translating languages, persisting state, building the tools other engineers reach for without thinking.

I studied Computer Engineering at Ege University in Izmir, Turkey. Most of my work is in Rust, Java, and C++, though I also use Python, TypeScript, and Go depending on what the problem needs.

The projects I keep coming back to are compilers, databases, and developer tools. I'm currently building muda, an experimental text editor and IDE framework in Rust, AeroDB, an embedded database with B-tree storage, and Siyo Compiler, a full compiler for a custom language.
